Description

The Dunkleosteus grew larger than the largest of the Great White sharks on record today. They were well-armored with powerful jaws donning bladed edges instead of teeth. There were no larger fish in the Devonian period 382-358 million years ago. This giant beast weighed over 3.6 tons and grew up to 9 meters long.
Sculpted by Sean Cooper and hand painted by the famed artisans at Kaibutsuya. This highly detailed and accurate replica of the Dunkleosteus fossil is about 16 1/2 Inches long with a name plate identifying the scientific name and habitat. This beautiful piece can be wall-mounted or as a tabletop display. You will want to add this to your pre-historic creature collection before they are gone for good. Part of the Wonders of the Wild series at Star Ace, product number SA5010.
